Menstrual Cramps Help Website Goes Live!

My daughter Lauren, who helped put together our new web site and is the Managing Editor, and I are excited to announce we have launched this long anticipated addition to our Health and Wellness line of web sites and products!

Over the last few weeks this project has consumed all of our time and efforts. It is of course a work in progress as it will receive ongoing updates to existing topics and new content on a regular basis. An online store is in the works and a “coming soon” heading is on the shopping portion of the web site. We were at the point however where we were satisfied we could deliver a lot of initial information on this much needed area of woman’s health which is somewhat neglected in our information laden world.

We are fine tuning aspects of the site during the launch and Press Releases have been sent out in number to announce it to the world.

We would love to hear your comments on our efforts so visit MenstrualCrampsHelp.com today and come back to leave your comments.

Debt Weight

“Debt Weight” is the same as “Dead Weight” it weighs you down dragging with it your self esteem, your financial security and your very freedom to enjoy the pursuit of happiness.

In America we have many freedoms not the least of which is to enjoy the fruits of our labor in the way of buying what we want to live the lifestyle we choose. I am not talking about the necessities of life; food, clothing, shelter and so on, but I am talking about the joys of our eclectic toys. It is these toys that we indulge in, however, that often come at the expense of fully loaded credit card limits. The irony is that the very joy we get from buying these toys can become the noose around our necks that not only diminishes the short lived enjoyment we get anyway from the “next new thing,” but these collections of fixes for our sensory appetites can quickly become our object of resentment as we are often left, years later, still paying for items that long ago lost their luster.

Debt, whether personal or on a National and World level is the media spotlight at the moment. While it may or may not ALL be real, the perception is that it is, so perception becomes the reality in many cases. What many fail to see is it is all related to a long overdue correction in our financial system to cleanse the gluttony of our collective desires as individuals, corporations and a nation and make us aware of what goes on in the backrooms of this country so it hopefully will not happen again. The true reality is that many have become caught up in this toilet flush and are suffering the consequences of their actions to buy, buy, buy. In these cases help is needed to get them out of debt and on the right path to stay out of debt. I speak from experience.

As a great number of us have done I got sucked into the vacuum of credit use early on, probably around 19 or 20 when I was blessed with my first credit card approval. If you will recall it was a magical moment filled with visions of being able to buy that elusive item we had been lusting for, in my case it was an 8 track player for my 1968 Pontiac Firebird (boy am I aging myself,) but could not possibly pay cash for because we simply did not have that much money on hand. Now in our hand was this tiny 3-3/8 x 2-1/8 piece of mystical plastic that opened new doors to acquire the objects of our desire previously thought to be out of reach! Little did we know we held in our hand a tiny, potential Pandora’s box.

To make a long story short, over the years I experienced everything from the “joys” of being able to buy what I wanted, when I wanted, to the ultimate rock bottom of credit; bankruptcy. America, being the land of opportunity it is, I was able to crawl my way back over a ten plus year period of time back to perfect credit status but it was a long and painful journey I would not wish on anyone.

The unfortunate truth in our society is that credit is necessary, if for nothing else as an additional buffer to what savings we may have in the event of an emergency that requires fast reserves. It is how we manage this credit that makes the difference between being a responsible credit user or an addictive credit abuser. Since I have been both, I have the fortunate dual vision of being able to see and learn from the past and plan for the future.

As a result I have created a concise web site dedicated to helping people get out of debt, stay out of debt and manage their credit resources, for credit is a “resource” that needs to be intelligently managed. To visit my site, if you are in the throes of credit hell, or want to learn how to stay out of it and learn to manage debt, or if you just want to get some honest, straight answers you can click here.

I hope you will find it a resource you can refer back to time and again and pass on to anyone else you may know that is suffering from credit and debt problems. Be sure to go to the bottom for the resource center.

BETA – A New Four Letter Word

Well before I ever entered the world of Technology or the Internet the word “BETA” was a Siamese fighting fish with beautiful colors. In this context it is more often spelled “Betta” but if you Google beta fish you will find both references. I wish it were still relegated to this beautiful fish however you spell it, because to me, and I would bet many others, this simple word, especially in the world of Internet Marketing, is rapidly becoming a four letter curse word. What the B_ _ a!

Look up BETA in Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta however, and you will find it has almost any definition OTHER that what Internet Marketers are using it for. In fact, on the main page referenced in the above link there is one line under; Beta may refer to: “In technology” that describes it as; Betaware, software released to a limited amount of users for testing before official release. Of course by clicking this link you are taken to a lengthy page that does go into a full description, but among all the many descriptions of beta this is very minor and certainly almost lost in the big picture descriptions. Just take a look at the description in Beta (finance) wow!

My point of all this is that in my opinion it is being grossly overused and inappropriately so by Internet Marketers trying to make quick money off of their software or script releases. Note in the above paragraph that it says software released to a LIMITED amount of users for testing before official release. In general this could not be further from the truth. In my opinion it is being used as a catchy term PERIOD, because those Internet Marketers who use it in the release of their software or scripts are not only NOT releasing it to a limited amount of users but in fact are releasing their software as final products to the masses without often even mentioning it is in beta until after you have paid your large sum of money, reached the product delivery page, downloaded and installed the product and logged into the user administration.

Now I am an Internet Marketer myself and I love this business. I happen to not sell any software or scripts at this point but I believe that in their haste to get a product out and make the quick buck my fellow Internet marketers in the business of software and scripts are releasing their products in stages that leave MUCH to be desired in the way of functionality and usability, not to mention seemingly endless version releases that “fix” one problem after another. It reminds me of the early Microsoft software releases, which to some extent still occur.

I will not mention any names or companies here because not only do I admire and use the products of the offenders myself but at some point I will be a big fish in their pond and want to have them as friends and JV partners <grin and wink>. However you would be surprised to know how many of the big name “Gurus” are guilty of this.

What I am appealing to these brilliant, innovative and creative entrepreneurs is to make sure your products are thoroughly tested against all platforms and usage benchmarks BEFORE you release them to the public. At the very least if you are going to release a bug filled program be completely forthright about the fact it is a beta, it does have bugs, you will have problems and do not pay me $997 and another $67 per month on top of that unless you are willing to go through months of this hell. I wonder how that would cut into that $750,000 in 8 hour revenue?

Those of us who are purchasing these products in good faith are expecting them to perform immediately for these prices. You would not buy a computer with the hard drive missing or only half the memory it needs to perform with the idea that it would be added as soon as they can manufacture it and even when it is manufactured it will not perform smoothly for quite sometime. Guys and Gals we are buying your products to use NOW and make money so that we can play in your arenas not to buy and even be afraid to customize the product per allowances only to have it wiped out the next week with V.xxxxxxxxxx

Well now that I got that off my chest I am going to try to go make some money with V.9999 which I think now has an actual place to insert my Aweber subscribe code…
